Summer 7′s is still in the planning process, location of training, time of training, when we will start training, etc. Stay tuned for season details as well as a date, place and time for a pre-season meeting.

15′s Season Complete

With our loss to Glendale in the round of 32 Saturday 28th April, our 15′s season draws to a close. 52 training sessions run and 25 games played.

When you look at the statistics it was a dissapointing season. In competition, HARC Club was P 19 W 3 L 16 F 260 A 925! This obviously does not show how much hard work you put in, or how much you improved. However, that never shows in the score books, and it is a sobering fact for our rugby that it will always read P 19 W 3 L 16 F 260 A 925!

Next season? Let’s target more enjoyment through playing well, improved skills and fitness, more players recruited, greater sponsorship and finance to aid pitches & kit, improved coaching, and better rugby understanding to do the right things, in the right area of the pitch, at the right time. Then we’ll have better numbers to read at the end of next season.

HARC to play Glendale in Round of 32

HARC will travel to Glendale Colorado this weekend to take on the Glendale Raptors in the Round of 32 Playoffs for Division I USA Rugby.

The match is scheduled as a TV broadcast on the local Fox Sports channel, ROOT Sport and local ABC. It may also be available on line or on Fox Sports Plus. Kick off is set for 7:07 p.m. local Colorado time.

Thursday 29th March – HASP Closed – Meet at Memorial Pitch at 7:30pm

HASP is closed. We will meet at Memorial Rugby Pitch, (on the Picnic Loop, just Northwest of the Baseball Courts,) at 7:30pm, and try and get two team runs if the floodlights are on.

If not we will try and find an alternate space for a team runs.

The grass growing experiment that is HASP is closed this evening! (Fondren still have insurance issues with us and Rice pitch is torn up.)

Therefore, at 7:00pm to 8:30pm, we will run two team runs at Memorial Park near the south side, Picnic Lane baseball courts, wherever we can find enough light. (Memorial Loop Drive and Picnic Lane area, see attached link.) We will then re-convene at The Stags to talk about it.

Whilst this is far from ideal, and may mean some players miss training, these are the cards we have been dealt. Please bring running shoes, we may very well be running on the car park. No other kit required, I have balls!
